A Riserva of the Reserves. Unbelievable, destined for the few, who can listen and understand how the passage of time is a precious tools reaching a very specific goal: the evolution. The
Lunelli Family has taught us this with its Reserves. Likewise, this 2005 due to its extraordinary structure, made by 100% Chardonnay harvested from the vineyards around Villa Margona – the House’s residence on the slopes of Monte Bondone, “the Alp of Trent.”
The secret of the power it exudes lies in the fermentation, it takes place in large Austrian oak barrels eventually by the aging in wood which gives body and richness, but also a brackish power with concentrated aromas of magnolia and hazelnut and white flowers in sprays.
The 2005 vintage records a minus 11 percent below average. Less varietal, compared to other cuvées, but effective at showing what it has inside: power.
An intense golden yellow, citrusy on the nose with pastry and yeast in the foreground, orange peel. The sip shows this vintage does not end in today’s tasting window. This cuvée is undoubtedly one of those that, it does not end until it is finished, its power. In time.
