The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is slightly closed and benefits from ventilation. It expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, a touch of cranberry syrup with a slight bitterness, blackberry, black plum and crushed blackcurrant, associated with woody and roasted notes which appear in second nose (coffee, toasted wood, toasted hazelnut, toasted almond), aromatic herbs (roasted thyme and rosemary, dried mint, bay leaf), flowers (dried rose, lilac, violet in the background), sweet spices (licorice , white pepper, nutmeg, a hint of vanilla), as well as a resinous hint of pine needles and mineral notes of graphite and rock. The palate is a little tight in attack and offers accuracy and straightness. It expresses the flavors of wild black plum, morello cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, cherry jam, as well as aromatic herbs (roasted peppermint, thyme and rosemary), dried rose, roasted ( caramelized hazelnut, heated wood) and sweet spices (vanilla, licorice, nutmeg). The tannins are well structured, fine and sapid. The finish is persistent, with notes of dark chocolate with good bitterness, chocolate cherry and dried mint, as well as tight tannins. Beautiful structure and deliciousness.
