The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is reserved and requires aeration. It then expresses a nice concentration of fruit, even a textured touch. We find the aromas of ripe raspberry, juicy morello cherry, blueberry, red plum, crunchy strawberry in the background, associated with fresh herbaceous notes (wild mint, fresh bay leaf, fresh thyme), and a distinguished minerality (limestone, dry stone), sweet spices (nutmeg, liquorice, white pepper), as well as a touch of rose and lilac. The palate is silky, enveloping and juicy, even a little warm in the finish. It expresses notes of crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, a touch of roasted red cherry in the background, crushed blueberry and blackberry, combined with fine spicy notes (nutmeg, a hint of cumin and licorice), fresh and roasted herbs (roasted thyme, fresh peppermint), as well as a fine floral bouquet (dried rose, lilac). The tannins are firm, but sapid and balanced by a salivating acidity and a gourmet chocolate touch, which appears on the finish. A wine with a firm structure, concentration and gourmandise, as well as beautiful freshness and a persistent and sapid finish.
