Mura Mura Faset 2021 – Barbaresco

The wine has a pale ruby color. The first nose is very fragrant, intense and floral. It expresses notes of fresh rose, accompanied by a light herbaceous touch of cut rose, fresh cornflower, lily and dried wildflowers. The second nose offers notes of tangy black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, wild plum), dried red fruits (dried red cherry, dried cranberries), crushed raspberry, as well as herbaceous aromas of wild mint and fresh tobacco. We then find very delicate notes of sweet spices (clove, liquorice), a touch of chocolate as well as a racy minerality (limestone) in the background. On the palate, the attack offers good bitterness, enveloped in gourmand notes of wild blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, red cherry, crunchy strawberry and black plum. We also find a delicate floral bouquet (fresh rose, dried rose, fresh cornflower, wild flowers), a touch of chocolate and spice (clove, liquorice). The tannins are fine and melted. Beautiful acidity and persistence on the palate with the gourmandise of ripe red fruits and notes of dark chocolate. A supple and gourmand wine, but with a beautiful structure.
