Château La Commanderie 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose offers some fruits, a slight density, deepness, a certain brightness, and a slight darkness. There are notes of Boysen blackberry, dense small black berries, and small notes of lily, associated with touches of black pepper, spices and a discreet hint of graphite. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suppleness, minerality and a little freshness, a slight pulpiness and gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, badian and small notes of quite ripe/ fleshy wild small red fruits associated with touches of spices, pepper as well as slight hints of sweet blond tabaco and a hint cardamom. There is a subtle hint almost almond in the background. Good length and gourmandise with a beautiful touch on the finish and silky matter.
