L’Esprit de jean Voisin 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and beautifully fresh. There are notes of fresh blackberry, juicy/ fresh cassis, and small notes of violet, combined with slight touches of small berries and a discreet hint of spices. The palate is fresh, fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/ fresh frame, a beautiful acidity, and juiciness/ brightness of the fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ fresh cassis, juicy/ fresh small red berries, and a discreet toasted hint as well as tonka beans. Good length and freshness with a discreet hint of toast in the background. Good definition which shows cocoa hints in the background with discreetly powdered and fresh tannins.
