Château Teyssier 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Teyssier 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is refined and offers precision, freshness and tangy fruit. It expresses notes of fresh red cherry (with a touch of dried red cherry), morello cherry, blueberry, black plum, blackberry and red currants, combined with spicy and woody notes (toasted hazelnut, fresh oak, liquorice, ground cumin, a touch of vanilla in the background), as well as a herbaceous touch (peppermint, sweet tobacco), floral (peony, cornflower) and chocolate (dark chocolate, chocolate cherry). The palate is gourmand, warming, with a well-built tannic structure and a grain of fine tannins. It expresses notes of red cherry in chocolate, blackberry, black plum, morello cherry and wild strawberry, combined with a savoury spiciness (liquorice, nutmeg, ground cumin), a touch of peppermint and peony. The finish is persistent, delicious and sapid, with notes of mint chocolate and prunes in chocolate. A full-bodied, even rich, but balanced wine.
