Château Montlisse 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Montlisse 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic and fruity, with a nice freshness and a pleasant tanginess. It expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, black rune and dried blackcurrant in the background, combined with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, a touch of vanilla and cinnamon in the background), cocoa, torrefaction (toasted hazelnut, coffee) and mint chocolate. On the palate, the wine is delicious, with finesse and a beautiful fruitiness. It expresses notes of chocolate cherry, ripe morello cherry, black plum, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, combined with notes of dark chocolate, toast, coffee, liquorice and vanilla in the background. The tannins are soft, chewy, well-built and fine-grained. Good persistence in the mouth with a pleasant bitterness, a fine touch of chocolate and a supple, but refreshing acidity.
