The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fresh, chiseled and tangy. It expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, red plum and black plum, a delicate spiciness (liquorice, ground cumin, vanilla in the background, a touch of cardamom), herbaceous touches of peppermint and blackcurrant leaf, a hint of toasted hazelnut and smoke as well as a fragrant floral bouquet (violet, peony, rose petals) and a delicate minerality. The palate is gourmand and silky. In the attack, it expresses notes of chocolate, dark, chocolate cherry, black plum, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, associated with touches of peppermint, blackcurrant bud, liquorice, vanilla and cardamom, as well as a toasted and hazelnut note in the background. The tannins are well structured, have a fine grain and softness. Beautiful salivating acidity and a lingering, chocolatey finish. A gourmet, subtle and elegant wine.
