The nose is aromatic, spicy and offers a certain small concentration as well as intensity. There are notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of cherry blossom associated with touches of black pepper as well as fine hints of graphite and clove. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity and offers brightness, precision, silkiness, tension, a certain straightness as well as brilliance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and small notes of small crushed red fruits associated with touches of star anise, violet, toasted touches as well as fine hints of chocolate, sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint of cornflower in the background. A fine chew and gourmandise.
