Zumbo – Ciuriciuri 2020, Contrada Santo Spirito

The nose is fruity and offers a fine almost maceration hint. There are notes of kumquat, orange and small notes of dried zest associated with almost lavender touches. The palate is gourmande, round and offers fat, balance, suavity as well as width. An airy side in its fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of kumquat, crushed/sweet mandarin and small notes of orange associated with touches of crushed small fruits, fine hints of local grove/olive leaf as well as discreet hints of green almond, racy minerality and salinity. A touch of maceration/fermentation on the finish.
