Domaine Rolet – Crémant du Jura Cœur de Chardonnay Brut Blanc de Blancs 2018-12%

The crémant has a pale straw yellow color with green reflections, limpid and shiny with dynamic bubbles. The first nose is intense with orchard fruits such as apricot, quince, plum but also white peach. We perceive touches of apple and pear. It’s a pretty basket of fruits with minerality and a discreet umami aspect. The second nose is more mineral with hints of almond. The palate is subtle with touches of yuzu, fresh apple but also juicy pear. There is indeed a nice juiciness with a full mid-palate and a fine effervescence. It’s straight, delicate, airy. There is a nice salivating acidity. This crémant is delicate, with a very well-balanced balance between freshness and fruit. It has length and intensity on the nose and on the palate. Complexity is also present with several aromatic families. Great success.
