Valle Martello 2019 – Villamagnano DOC

Beautiful, gourmand and deep nose. It offers intensity, power and a velvety and controled side at the same time. It reveals notes of creamy cassis, wild black berries and small notes of pepper associated with touches of local scrubland as well as a discreet hint of tobacco and almost medicinal herbs. The palate is well-built and offers gourmandize, precision, tension, a beautiful energy, a melodious side, dynamism as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, bright black plum and small notes of black berries associated with touches of local scrubland, camphor, black olive as well as hints of crushed redcurrants as well as slight hints of chocolate. Tannins are supple, sapid and gourmand. Beautiful acidulous and sapidity on the finish/ persistence. Beautiful salinity in the background.
