The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, concentrated, fresh and harmonious. It expresses notes of tangy black fruits (griotte, blackcurrant, blueberry, wild plum), roundness and gourmandise of red fruits (strawberry, crushed raspberry, roasted red cherry), a fine resinous touch (dry pine needles, pine sap), as well as a pronounced, but enveloped, spiciness and oakiness (licorice, toasted oak, vanilla, clove, coconut in the background), with a fine floral touch (violet) and a hint of cherry in chocolate. The palate is firm, straight, with powerful, but soft and melted tannins. The attack is gourmand and refined, with lots of ripe fruit (blackcurrant, morello cherry, wild strawberry, red cherry jam, raspberry coulis), which is completed by warm but subtle spicy and roasted notes (fresh vanilla, cloves, licorice, mint chocolate). Beautiful length with notes of cocoa, licorice, as well as a refreshing touch of blackcurrant leaf and violet. The acidity is lively and fresh.
