The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is fragrant and tasty, with lots of spices. We find the aromas of licorice, ground cumin, cloves, grilled vanilla, nutmeg, wrapped in ripe fruit (griotte, red cherry, wild strawberry, blackcurrant, blackberry). There are also delicate notes of violet, cornflower, blackcurrant bud and pine needles in the background. On the palate, the wine is round, gourmand and juicy. It expresses the flavors of wild strawberry, morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, wild blackberry and redcurrant jelly, combined with spicy notes of liquorice, fresh vanilla, cloves, as well as a floral touch of violet, fresh cornflower and peony. The tannins are structured, slightly grippy in the mid-palate, but fine and silky. The finish is long, gourmand and juicy, with a pleasant acidity and a touch of dark chocolate in the background.
