The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is savoury, spicy and slightly smoky at the opening. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, blackcurrant, morello cherry, raspberry coulis, crushed blueberry, as well as licorice, clove, nutmeg, combined with a touch of blackcurrant leaf, mint wild, minty chocolate, a fragrant floral bouquet (rose, iris, cornflower, violet) and a mineral hint (graves) in the background. The palate is gourmand, juicy, airy and very fruity. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, morello cherry, cherry jam, crushed blueberry, creamy blackcurrant, raspberry coulis, as well as a touch of mint chocolate, licorice, cloves, cocoa, violet, iris and dried rose. The tannins are structured, grippy in the mid-palate, but fine and melted. Beautiful acidity and savoury persistence on the palate. A gourmand and fleshy wine.
