Château Larrivaux 2020 – Haut-Médoc

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is subtle, elegant and complex. It expresses pleasant fruity notes (ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry, red cherry, sweet raspberry, wild blackberry, blackcurrant, see crème de cassis). The woody and spicy notes are refined and delicate: we find aromas of cocoa, toasted hazelnut, sweet coffee, vanilla pod, licorice and cloves which complete the fruity bouquet without dominating it. There are also light floral notes in the background (rose, lily, fresh cornflower). On the palate, the wine is airy, delicate with a beautiful freshness and acidity. It offers silky, fine-grained tannins and a juicy and enveloping fruitiness. The flavors are ripe and fresh: we find notes of crunchy morello cherry, wild strawberry, red cherry, wild blackberry, blueberry, as well as a delicate spiciness (vanilla pod, clove, licorice). integrated. Good persistence which completes the palate with floral notes (cornflower, rose).
