The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration, a ripe and fragrant fruitiness: It expresses notes of morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, blueberry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, associated with fresh herbaceous touches of crushed wild mint, leaf blackcurrant, bay leaf, thyme, dried pine needles, as well as notes of flowers (violet, rose petals), pine sap and fine spice and oaky touches (toasted, sweet coffee, licorice, ground clove). On the palate, the wine offers precision, refined power, as well as expressive and juicy fruity flavors. We find notes of juicy morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, wild blueberry, blackberry, as well as a tangy side of bigarreau cherry and raspberry, associated with notes of wild mint, rosemary, dry pine needles, flowers (violet, wildflowers) and sweet spices (cumin, cloves, licorice). The tannins are structured, a bit drying on the finish, but have a fine grain. Good acidity and persistence on the palate on fruits and spices. A gourmand wine, with a beautiful structure.
