The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is refined and offers freshness and accuracy. It expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, morello cherry, wild plum, blueberry jam, blackberry and wild strawberry, combined with touches of wild mint, menthol, licorice, star anise, gray pepper, as well as with notes of wild thyme, dry pine needles, dried flowers (dried wildflowers, dried rose petals, dried cornflower) and a fine hint of torrefaction (mild, toasted coffee). On the palate, the wine is gourmand, open and expressive. It offers flavors of morello cherry, roasted red cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry and blackcurrant, combined with a touch of smoke, toasted wood and sweet spices (licorice, cinnamon, cloves, walnuts, grated nutmeg), as well as dried herbs (dried mint, bay leaf, dried rosemary) and flowers (dried cornflower, dried rose petals). The tannins are well-structured and fine. The finish offers a rich fruity side, refreshed by a beautiful acidity. A warm, rich and gourmand wine, with a certain freshness.
