The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is reserved, but straight, concentrated and juicy. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, red cherry juice, crushed blackcurrant, wild strawberry, fresh raspberry and wild blackberry, combined with herbaceous notes of crushed mint, cut rosemary and a hint of pine sap. We also find an elegant floral bouquet (rose, peony, violet) and a gentle spicy side in the notes of licorice, vanilla, cumin and cloves, associated with a touch of toasted hazelnut and coffee in the background. On the palate, the wine offers structure and firmness. The tannins are quite fine, but young and drying. The wine expresses flavors of wild strawberry, morello cherry, red cherry, wild plum and cranberries, combined with notes of black pepper, licorice, cloves, dried mint and flowers (violet, dried rose), as well as a touch of toasted hazelnut and roasted bouquet garni in the background. The finish expresses a salivating acidity, which softens the tannins.
