The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is subtle and discreet, very floral and elegant, with a fine herbaceous hint. It first expresses notes of fresh rose, lilac, violet and cherry blossom, which are combined with notes of wild mint and rosemary, as well as delicate spicy touches of liquorice, cloves, roasted coriander seeds, a fine toasted and smoked side. We also find notes of fresh fruit: strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, red plum and red currant. On the palate, the wine is chiselled, tangy and offers a lot of freshness and salivating acidity. It expresses notes of crunchy strawberry, bigarreau cherry, cranberries, red currants, raspberry, as well as herbaceous (mint), spicy (nutmeg, licorice, cloves) and floral (fresh rose, cherry blossom) notes. The finish is tangy, juicy and airy, with notes of red fruits and a slight bitterness. The tannins have a fine, but firm texture. A refined wine, with lots of vivacity and freshness.
