The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is fragrant and refined: it combines notes of juicy red fruits (strawberry, ripe raspberry), fleshy black fruits (griotte, blueberry, a touch of black plum) with floral notes (peony, violet), a touch of white pepper, licorice and smoke with a herbaceous freshness (mint, thyme). There is also a touch of red apple in the background. On the palate, the wine is supple, juicy, generously fruity and airy at the same time. It expresses the flavors of roasted red cherry, fresh morello cherry, blackcurrant (in the background), purple fig, blueberry, blackberry and blue plum, combined with notes of licorice, white pepper and a touch of vanilla and cinnamon (in the background), as well as a fragrant floral bouquet (peony, iris). The tannins are well structured, fine and enveloped. A pleasant acidity refreshes the fairly persistent and fruity finish.
