The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is precise and pronounced and expresses a lot of spices: cloves, ground nutmeg, a fine touch of cinnamon and vanilla in the background and crushed pepper seeds. The fruity substance is concentrated, ripe and elegant. We find the aromas of crunchy wild strawberry, juicy raspberry, red cherry, crushed blueberry, redcurrant jelly and morello cherry, which are complemented by notes of roasted coriander seeds, dried bouquet garni, dried mint, as well as floral touches (rose petals, peony, dried field flowers) and smokiness. On the palate, the wine is tasty and complex. It mainly expresses non-fruity notes (spicy, floral, herbaceous) which dominate the fruity side at the beginning. We find in particular the flavors of crushed coriander and pink pepper seeds, ground cumin, cloves, roasted bouquet garni, licorice, wild flowers and dried peony. In its fruity side we find notes of roasted red cherry, crushed wild strawberry, red currants, raspberry and elderberry. The tannins are well structured, quite firm and slightly grippy, but enveloped thanks to the juicy and round finish, as well as a salivating acidity. A wine with a certain power, but elegant and refined.
