The wine offers a brilliant pale ruby color. The nose is tasty and fragrant. The first nose offers smokiness, notes of roasted meat and delicate spicy touches (cumin, cloves in the background). We then find the aromas of fresh and tangy red fruits (raspberry, red currant, bigarreau cherry, elderberry, a bitter touch of cranberry) as well as a subtle floral aromas (iris, peony, rose petals). There is also a hint of licorice and mint. On the palate, the wine expresses roundness and offers a juicy and fruity attack, supported by a salivating acidity. The flavors are precise, chiseled and tangy and reflect the aromas that we have on the nose (tart bigarreau cherry, red currant, fresh raspberry, cranberry). At the end of the palate, we find floral touches of peony and iris, a slight spiciness (clove, liquorice). The tannins are melted, enveloped and silky. Good length on the fruit.
