The wine has a bright, moderately deep ruby color. The nose is aromatic, warm and ripe: it expresses notes of fresh and roasted red cherry and strawberry, supported by tangy touches of raspberry and blueberry. We also find refreshing herbaceous notes (fresh cut thyme, fresh bay leaf, a smoky touch of oregano), as well as a delicate floral bouquet (fresh cornflower, rosehip), as well as a mineral touch (dry stone), spicy (ground cloves, licorice) and subtly toasted. On the palate, the wine is tasty and offers sapidity and a firm structure, enveloped by a fruity substance, as well as a beautiful freshness. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, blueberry, crunchy strawberry, raspberry, as well as sweet spices (licorice, a touch of cinnamon, ground clove), dried flowers (cornflower, rose petals) and melted notes of oak and torrefaction (toast, sweet coffee, cocoa), which persist on the finish. The tannins are firm, but velvety, lively acidity and good balance. A gourmand and precise wine.
