The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers concentration, ripe fruit and elegance. It expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, bigarreau cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, wild blackberry (in the background), complemented by subtle notes of sweet spices (licorice, cloves, grated nutmeg), as well as delicate touches of aromatic herbs (dried oregano, fresh thyme) lilac, toasted almond and curry (after aeration). On the palate, the wine offers energy, lots of fruit and a refined spiciness. It expresses notes of fresh bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, tangy red plum and juicy blueberry (in the background), as well as delicate and integrated spicy and woody touches. We find notes of cumin, licorice, cloves, a hint of toast as well as notes of roasted aromatic herbs (thyme and rosemary) and fresh oregano. The tannins are fine and velvety, but structured. The acidity is lively and salivating, and gives a beautiful energy to the wine. Good length, on the tanginess of fruits and a smoky touch of oregano and curry. Good aging potential.
