The wine has a deep ruby color, with purple reflections. The nose is fruity, juicy and gourmand, with a pleasant tanginess. It expresses notes of red cherry juice, crunchy strawberry, fresh raspberry, blueberry and morello cherry, as well as a touch of white pepper, violet and peppermint in the background. The attack on the palate is round, silky and gourmand. It offers notes of strawberry, morello cherry, juicy raspberry, blueberry, violet, blackcurrant leaf and white pepper. The mid-palate is rather dry and expresses gripping and firm tannins. The finish is moderately persistent, rather tight and closed, but balanced by a lively acidity.
