The nose offers notes of fresh pepper, fresh leather and small notes of cassis. The palate offers fruit, roundness, a certain fat, a small tension as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, fleshy cherry and small notes of racy minerality associated with touches of dusty touches, fresh spices and a discreet almost rooty hint (in the background). Tannins are finely drying on the finish/persistence.
