Nice elegant, delicate nose which offers a melodious side as well as purity (of the fruit). This wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of cornflower, roasted cherry and small notes of blueberry associated with small touches of liquorice as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, minerality, a good definition as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blueberry, fresh/juicy raspberry and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of sweet blond tobacco and almond. The finish becomes tighter and tighter. Tannins are discreetly marked. Good length. A fine chew. Presence of a subtle hint of chocolate and good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
