Château Haut-Tellas 2020 – Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers purity as well as pulpiness. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of quite ripe wild strawberry associated with delicate touches of roasted fruit as well as hints of mocha, licorice stick and a discreet hint of almond. The palate is juicy, elegant, delicate, delicious and offers purity, a good quality of the fruit, an airy side in its richness/pulpness of the fruit as well as a small roasted-juicy side (which brings a lot of gourmandize). On the palate this wine expresses notes of roasted cherry and pulpy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of liquorice, chocolate as well as hints of roasted fruit, a hint of roasting and delicate hints of sweet spices. A beautiful chew on the finish. Gourmandize!
