The nose is racy, elegant and finely chiseled. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, small pulpy/bright fruits and small notes of racy minerality associated with fine almost graphite hints of nutmeg, cardamom and discreet hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, chiseled, delicate and offers juiciness, suavity, a fresh/juicy frame, a good definition, gourmandize, energy, precision, a “sense of place” side, harmony as well as tension. Lovely finesse and energy thanks to the limestone terroir. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, small fresh/juicy red fruits and small notes of fresh/bright blueberry associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as hints of vanilla. Good length. A good bitterness in the background which contributes to the construction of the mouth. Aromatic purity.
