The wine has a bright, deep ruby color. The nose is fleshy, textured, with freshness and concentration. It expresses notes of juicy and tangy black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry), combined with sweet notes of crushed wild strawberry, raspberry coulis and ripe red cherry. On the second nose we find fine spicy notes (licorice, nutmeg, white pepper), a herbaceous freshness (wild mint, blackcurrant leaf) and a floral bouquet in the background (rose, violet). The palate is ample, silky and ripe. The attack offers roundness, concentration and expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, wild blackberry, ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry and ripe red cherry (even with a slight hint of maceration). In the mid-palate, we find a fairly powerful and firm tannin structure, but at the same time fine and enveloped, thanks to a concentrated fruitiness. We also find floral notes of iris and rose petals, a herbaceous touch of blackcurrant leaf and wild mint, as well as a fine spiciness (licorice, white pepper, cloves). The finish is tasty, persistent and completes the bouquet with notes of cocoa and a slight bitterness. Beautiful crunchy acidity which brings liveliness to the wine. A racy and refined wine, with controlled power and good length.
