The wine has a bright ruby color. The nose offers concentration, gourmandise and a certain complexity: it expresses notes of wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, red cherry, morello cherry, redcurrant jelly as well as a touch of blackcurrant, associated with fine spicy notes (crushed black pepperberries, cumin in the background), herbaceous hint (dried grass, dried mint in the background) and a bouquet of wild flowers. The palate is airy, juicy and fruity: it expresses flavors of strawberry, red cherry, red currants and crushed raspberry, combined with subtle notes of rose petals, dried grass and white pepper. There is freshness, lightness, fine but present tannins, a nice acidity and persistence on the palate, with a slight bitterness. A refined and gourmand wine.
