Vignoble de la Jarnoterie, Improvisation 2020 – Saint – Nicolas de Bourgueil

Vignoble de la Jarnoterie, Improvisation 2020 – Saint – Nicolas de Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved, discreet. It expresses notes of red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, crushed garnet seeds, blackcurrant, blueberry, with a fine note of morello cherry jam in the background, a mineral touch (wet stone), dried wild flowers, liquorice and white pepper. On the palate, the wine is fruity and offers a certain roundness, fine but structured tannins and a salivating acidity, rounded by a fruity, rather persistent finish. We find flavors of red cherry, fresh raspberry, red plum, a hint of blackcurrant, as well as fine notes of black pepper, licorice, dried wild flowers and a slight minerality. A lively and chiselled wine, with a certain concentration.
