The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with garnet reflections. The nose offers concentration, depth and complexity. It expresses notes of very ripe, dried and jammy fruits (ripe morello cherry, raspberry coulis, fresh blackcurrant, blackcurrant jam, roasted red cherry, wild strawberry), combined with notes of sweet spices (white pepper, licorice, cumin), herbs (dried mint, dried bay leaf), violet, as well as tertiary notes of undergrowth and mushrooms in the background. The palate expresses a fine sweetness on the attack (chocolate cherry, macerated cherry), balanced by notes of fresh fruit(strawberry, morello cherry, crushed raspberry), dried mint and violet, as well as a nice acidity. We also find notes of sweet spices (licorice, white pepper, cumin), undergrowth and mushrooms in the background. An evolved, complex wine, which has freshness and a beautiful tannic structure, firm, but refined.
