The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose offers distinct minerality (wet stone), and is complemented in the second nose by notes of red cherry, crushed raspberry, fresh red currant, crushed blackcurrant, wild strawberry and wild blackberry. We also find notes of wild mint, violet, lily and a touch of licorice in the background. The attack on the palate is juicy, enveloping and fleshy. We find notes of crushed morello cherry, very ripe red cherry (see roasted), wild strawberry, raspberry coulis and red currant, as well as notes of slightly sweet flowers (peony, lilac, a touch of violet in sugar)and a herbaceous touch (wild mint, blackcurrant leaf) and spicy in the background (licorice, cloves). The finish is persistent, tasty and warm (even with very discreet notes of cocoa and chocolate cherry), but with a fresh and tangy structure. Pleasant spiciness on the finish. Good potential.
