The wine has a pale ruby colour. The nose is aromatic and tense. It expresses savoury notes of roasted meat and toast, which are then complemented by refined touches of dried mint and rosemary, liquorice and a very subtle note of graphite. The fruitiness of the wine is expressed in ripe red fruit aromas (red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cranberry) with a touch of fresh blackcurrant and blueberry. On the palate, the wine offers lightness, juicy and tangy red fruits (Bigarreau cherry, red currant, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry), fresh blackcurrant, blackcurrant bud, as well as a spicy side (white pepper, clove, a fine touch of star anise in the background). The wine has an airy texture, grippy but fine tannins, salivating acidity and good persistence on the palate, with tart cherry flavours.
