The wine has a ruby colour of medium intensity. The nose is restrained but offers good concentration and complexity. The wine expresses aromas of red cherry, raspberry, red currant, a touch of blueberry, blue plum and blackcurrant, as well as fresh notes of dried mint, dried flowers (cornflower, violet) and a fine touch of sourness. On the palate, the wine offers a pleasant spiciness (white pepper, nutmeg) and minerality (a little chalky) and juicy, tangy red and black fruits (red cherry, red currant, cranberry, blueberry, black currant). In the mid-palate and on the finish, the wine expresses a firm tannic structure, a little drying. The finale is quite persistent, fresh and acidic, with notes of blueberry, dried mint and a lively salivating acidity.
