The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers concentration and a beautiful expression of ripe red and black fruits. It expresses aromas of wild strawberry, Morello cherry, blueberry, raspberry coulis, blue plum and blackberry. There are also subtle spicy notes of black pepper, liquorice, clove, bitter cocoa, dried mint, lilac, dried rose and a hint of graphite in the background. On the palate, the wine offers power and precision. The attack is open, fruity with a note of roasted meat and smoke, pronounced but enveloped. It then expresses the flavors of juicy and ripe, slightly jammy red and black fruits (wild strawberry, crushed strawberry, Morello cherry, black plum, blackberry, blueberry jam), complemented by savoury and spicy notes of roasted meat, roasted aromatic herbs (rosemary, bay leaf), with a sweet hint of prunes in chocolate and the freshness of dried mint. The tannins are supple and velvety, the structure of the wine is well-built and precise but round and velvety. Nice length in the mouth, on the richness of ripe red fruits, with freshness and nice acidity.
