The wine has a pale ruby color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of crunchy red fruits (wild strawberries, Bigarreau cherries, raspberries, red currants, red plums) and juicy black fruits (Morello cherries, blueberries, blue plums). There are also notes of mint, liquorice stick, fresh rosemary, as well as a slight toasty and peppery note. On the palate, the wine expresses tangy flavors of crunchy red and black fruits (strawberry, Bigarreau cherry, red currant, fresh blackcurrant, blueberry) with savory and spicy notes of roasted meat, black pepper, nutmeg and smoke (in the background). The tannins are a bit rough, but enveloped and well-integrated thanks to the juiciness of the fruit. Good length and freshness on the palate, with lively acidity and a slight bitterness on the finish.
