The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is expressive and offers lots of fruit, spices and torrefaction (coffee). It reveals notes of blackberry, blueberry, fresh and roasted Morello cherry, fresh and dried wild strawberry, blackcurrant as well as spicy, herbaceous and savory notes of nutmeg, clove, ground cumin, dried mint and liquorice. There are also elegant floral notes of cornflower, dried rose and violet. On the palate, the wine has firmness and well-built tannins, enveloped and balanced thanks to the concentration of fruity flavors on the palate and a nice complexity. On the palate, the wine reveals juicy flavors of ripe red cherry, fresh and roasted Morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed strawberry, red currant and blueberry, accompanied by spicy and savory touches of nutmeg, clove, liquorice, as well as slightly meaty and smoky notes. The finish is long, round and fruity, refreshed by salivating acidity and notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, cloves) with a slight hint of smoke.
