The nose is elegant with a certain intensity, some power and a fine grain, even an airy side. There are notes of wild blackberries, black cherries and more slightly of small, pulpy black berries combined with hints of violets, camphor and a very discreet note of fresh pepper. The palate is fruity with freshness, minerality and tension offering a vibrant quality. There is good work on the noble varietal bitter taste. There are notes of juicy, plump cherries, juicy red berries and more slightly cherry blossom combined with hints of juicy blue berries, fresh juicy blackcurrant and hints of chocolate and toast. There’s a mocha and cocoa note in the background. Good length.
