The wine has a deep ruby color with purplish reflections. On the nose, it first expresses aromas of sweet spices (cinnamon, clove, liquorice) and cocoa, with a slight note of star anise and coffee. On the second nose, there are lots of red and black fruits: there are notes of sour cherry, red cherry, blackberry, black plum, crushed strawberry and raspberry jam. On the palate, the attack is rich, enveloping and juicy: there are slightly sweet flavors of prunes, morello cherry jam, amarena, morello cherries, kirsch, sweet almond, licorice, as well as the side fresh tart red cherry and red plum. The wine then develops with herbaceous and spicy notes of bay leaf, thyme and black pepper. The finish is warm, on macerated red fruits, with good acidity and powerful tannins, a little drying in the mouth. A wine, capable of aging well, to keep for several years.
