The wine has a deep ruby color. The aromas are pronounced, very fruity and warming. The wine expresses notes of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry, black plum, morello cherry), red cherries, kirsch, bitter almond and licorice stick. On the palate, the wine is fruity: there are notes of red cherries, Morello cherries, black plums and a slight touch of black pepper. The tannins are grippy, but fine. A pleasant, fruity wine, moderately long, with a fresh acidity that balances the slightly alcoholic notes of kirsch and macerated cherry on the nose and on the palate.
