The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is expressive, with meaty and sanguine notes at first, which disappear after aeration. We then find the aromas of red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, black plum, blueberry, as well as a herbaceous touch of garrigue, bay leaf, juniper berry, fresh thyme and savory. There is also a smoky and meaty note in the background. On the palate, the wine is restrained, youthful and firm. It expresses fruity (red cherry, morello cherry, black plum, blueberry, blackcurrant), herbaceous (peppermint, savory) flavors with a slight touch of salinity and minerality (wet stone). The tannins are a bit grippy and dry, with a firm structure. They are softened by a persistent, fresh and concentrated finish, with notes of ripe red cherry, savory, dark chocolate and lively acidity. A wine with balance between power, freshness and concentration.
