La Romaine, L’Originale, Côtes du Rhône Villages Vaison La Romaine 2020

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with purple reflections. The nose is aromatic, it opens with a pronounced note of smoked meat which disappears after aeration. The bouquet of the wine combines the aromas of ripe red and black fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, red plum, strawberry) with floral (peony) and herbaceous (mint, liquorice) notes. On the palate, the attack is tight, with grippy, slightly drying tannins. The wine expresses fruity flavors of red cherry, morello cherry, black plum, red plum, liquorice with a hint of cocoa. The finish is aromatic and persistent, with freshness, nice acidity and on roundness of fruit which softens the drying tannins.
