Domaine de Lucéna, Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan 2019

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic, with pure fruity notes (red cherry, cassis, black plum, raspberry, wild strawberry) and tasty notes of fresh liquorice stick, peppermint, dried herbs and a delicate touch of smoked meat in the background. On the palate, the attack is soft, with ripe flavors of red cherry, morello cherry, red plum, with a touch of mint, liquorice and smoke (the same note of smoked meat found on the nose). The tannins are grippy, tight, with a grainy structure, but softened by a salivating acidity. The finish expresses peppery and minty flavors, more fruity and round towards the finish of the palate.
