Château Franc-Baudron – Authentique 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

(Organic) The nose is fresh, fruity, tangy and offers a fine crunch. There are notes of fresh/crisp blackberry, crunchy blackcurrant and more slightly lily/iris combined with hints of fresh strawberry. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a little crunch, a certain fruitiness, accuracy, gourmandise, dynamism, a fine powdery quality as well as a little fresh varietal character which brings energy. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackcurrant, crunchy berry and slightly lily notes combined with a touch of rose, fresh/crisp red berries and a subtle hint of blueberry, tonka bean/toast and cocoa. Subtle chewiness on the finish.
