The wine is best decanted. There are notes of ripe/fresh berries, violets and a touch of fresh pepper combined with hints of fresh tobacco as well as fine blueberry, sour cherry and a touch of clove. The palate is fruity with juiciness, acidity/juiciness, good definition, tension, minerality and a fine airiness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy cherry, blackberry and lighter floral notes (blueberry, violet) combined with hints of red berries and hints of fresh blond tobacco, clove and a subtle almost toasty character. The tannins are supple and sapid. Good length.
