The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, gourmandise, dynamism and harmony. There are notes of blackcurrant liqueur, tart strawberry and, more slightly, crunchy cherry, combined with a touch of violet, pepper, a fine hint of roasted fruit and a subtle touch of blueberry and sweet tobacco. The palate is mineral, harmonious, balanced and offers an airy, fat, smoothness and a well-managed tannic structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, blackcurrant liqueur and, to a lesser extent, blueberry, combined with hints of crushed red berries, cardamom, blond tobacco and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are racy and elegant.
